Private transportation: 7–29-seat vehicles available according to group size
Begin with onsen rituals, movement & tea meditation before discovering Hue through its river, royal cuisine, ancient traditions and contemporary crafts.
Then leave the city behind for the coast, where unhurried resort time, lagoon life, kayaking and a sunset dinner create space to simply slow down and reconnect.
A journey that brings together wellness, culture, gastronomy and nature, with enough freedom to enjoy each experience in your own way.
"At All Asia Vacation, luxury journey begins with what you see on the itinerary - and is completed by the quiet certainty that everything behind it has already been taken care of."
FIVE DAYS, TWO LANDSCAPES, ONE SLOWER RHYTHM
Some places are remembered through their landmarks, others stay with you through the moments in between. Hue offers both: the grandeur of its imperial heritage, the warmth of mineral water, the fragrance rising from a cup of tea, a bell’s resonance lingering above the Perfume River, and an evening with nothing more pressing than watching the light change over the lagoon. All Asia Vacation’s new Hue Retreat Journey brings these experiences together, inviting you not simply to leave the everyday behind, but to return to a deeper, quieter rhythm within yourself. Over five days, All Asia Vacation invites you to experience Hue at a gentler pace, moving from the restorative calm of an onsen retreat to a tranquil coastline framed by mountains, with two nights in each setting. Mineral bathing, gentle movement and tea create space for release and presence before imperial heritage, royal cuisine and encounters with local practitioners and artisans awaken a deeper curiosity. Water is the quiet thread connecting each chapter, from mineral springs and freshly poured tea to the Perfume River, lagoon and sea. Along the way, light filtering through handmade materials and flavours that tell Hue’s stories invite you to notice the smallest details, while unhurried intervals leave room for conversation, reflection and moments shared with loved ones. Rather than a succession of sights, each day offers a gradual shift in how you feel, leading towards the freedom to simply be. Our hope is that you return home with more than beautiful memories: a deeper sense of peace, fulfilment and renewed energy.

Itinerary
DAY 1: HUE
Experience flow: From the demands of travel to physical ease, quiet senses and complete permission to rest.
Upon touchdown at Phu Bai International Airport, you will be met right at the airplane’s arrival gate by friendly Fast Track Service staff. You will be whisked through immigration via the diplomatic lane, have your luggage retrieved and carried, and be escorted to your Hue host waiting for you in the Arrival Hall. A private vehicle will be ready to take you on an adventure back to Hue center. Your first afternoon is kept deliberately light, with time to settle into your room and leave the practicalities of travelling behind. Before asking you to explore Hue, the journey gives you something more immediate: the opportunity to feel comfortable, cared for and ready to be here.
Afternoon Wellness at Kobi
Duration: 2.5 hours
Drawing on the My An mineral spring, Kobi's Japanese-style onsen experience moves through warm mineral bathing, cooling water, heated stone, Himalayan rocksalt and aromatic steam. Herbal steam, mineral mud bathing and spaces for quiet rest offer further ways to shape the afternoon, with services selected according to your preferences and on your own account.
After a long journey, the appeal is immediate and physical: warmth around the body, the support of the water and a welcome release from hours spent seated. Warm-water immersion can help ease perceived tension and encourage relaxation. You may begin to notice the change during the process itself, as your shoulders feel less held and your attention moves away from the travelling you have just completed. This is a practice you experience through the senses, rather than something you need to understand before enjoying. Its purpose here is simple: to make the transition from travelling to resting tangible, for both body and mind. Follow the resort's guidance and choose the bathing experiences that feel comfortable for you.
A First Taste of Hue
Duration: 1.5 hours
As evening approaches, dinner at the resort or a selected local restaurant introduces Hue through its flavours. Regional specialties such as bun bo Hue, banh canh, banh beo-nam-loc-it are among the possibilities, with the restaurant and menu agreed in advance. After the afternoon's inward focus, sharing a meal gently brings your attention back to the people beside you, without changing the relaxed pace of the day.
Wind Down
Duration: 1 hours
Take a leisurely stroll beside the koi lake, or retire to your room to do some stargazing from the balcony. There is no need to fill the evening. These undemanding hours allow you to enjoy the comfort of having arrived, with nothing more required of you before tomorrow's discoveries.
Your Stay | Kobi Onsen Resort
Kobi brings Japanese-inspired architecture and bathing culture into the surroundings of Hue, with gardens, a koi lake and understated interiors in neutral tones, to which offers an appropriate setting for the opening chapter.
(This part below will be adjusted on the actual chosen room type)
Your proposed Tsubaki Deluxe Koi Lake View room measures 36 square metres and features Japanese-style furnishings and a private balcony overlooking the koi lake. The view gives the water motif a place within your everyday experience, from a quiet moment before breakfast to the return after a day on the river.
DAY 2: HUE
Experience flow: Gently awaken the body, settle into presence, then open your attention to the river and the city.
After breakfast at Kobi, meet Master Ton Anh Duy, a Hue-based mindfulness practitioner whose work centres on reconnecting with the body and mind, therefore, discovering a more embodied sense of presence. Inspired by the contemplative spirit of his home city, his approach invites you to reconnect through simple, attentive practice. He remains your companion throughout the day, allowing the morning's experience to continue naturally into the afternoon on the river.
Movement & Tea Meditation For A Mindful Morning
Duration: 2.5 hours
Begin with conscious movements, bringing attention to the way you stand, breathe and carry yourself. After yesterday's rest, this is a gentle awakening: an invitation to reconnect with a body that is often asked to keep moving without being listened to.As the rhythm gradually settles, movement gives way to the quiet ritual of tea meditation.
Notice the warmth of the cup, the fragrance of the leaves and the sensation of taking a sip without already thinking about what comes next. Under Duy's guidance, these ordinary details become a way of returning to the present moment. The sequence moves from activity to stillness without separating the two, helping you explore how awareness can remain with you whether you are moving, sitting or sharing a quiet cup of tea.
Lunch, Onsen & Unhurried Time
Duration: 2 hours
Lunch at the resort (or a similar restaurant), at your own expense, is followed by time to rest, take a nap or choose another onsen experience. This interval leaves space for the morning to settle before your attention turns towards Hue's landscape and cultural life.
The Perfume River: Hue in Slow Motion
Duration: 2.5 hours
Board your boat at Toa Kham Wharf and begin a different encounter with Hue. The Perfume River is central to the setting of the former imperial capital, connecting its monuments with their surrounding landscapes. Experiencing the river helps place the city's architecture, spiritual traditions and stories within a wider setting, rather than viewing them as isolated sights. From the water, the banks unfold gradually, giving you time to observe while your host shares the traditions and feng shui beliefs associated with this stretch of Hue.
Master Ton Anh Duy continues alongside you, guiding a singing bowl session aboard the boat. The river setting gives the practice a distinctive sensory context: sustained tones to listen to, reflections to rest your eyes upon and the gentle presence of water around you. As each note fades, attention can return to your breathing and the space between sounds. Here, the value of being on the river lies in experiencing sound, landscape and stillness together. The morning's inward awareness opens into a broader sense of presence, making the boat journey part of the experience rather than simply a way to reach the next landmark.
Thien Mu Wharf & Pagoda
Duration: 1 hours
Arrive at Thien Mu Wharf and continue on foot to Thien Mu Pagoda. Founded in 1601 on Ha Khe Hill beside the Perfume River, the pagoda is one of Hue's enduring spiritual landmarks, distinguished by its seven-tiered Phuoc Duyen Tower. Its significance lies in the relationship between Buddhist heritage, architecture and the riverside landscape, offering a perspective on Hue that complements its royal monuments. Reaching it by boat lets that relationship unfold before you step ashore. Take time to explore the grounds, notice the tower's proportions and look back towards the water you have just travelled along. After the singing bowls, the visit continues the day's reflective mood while bringing you into contact with a place of longstanding spiritual meaning.
A Taste of Hue: Local Dinner
Duration: 1.5 hours
Dinner is planned at Quan Hanh (or a similar restaurant), where local dishes bring the day's encounters into conversation around the table. The shift is gently sociable: after moments of individual attention, there is time to share what you noticed and enjoy another expression of Hue through its cooking.
Your Evening, Your Way
Return to Kobi for a quiet evening or extend your time in the city with an optional cyclo ride or a stroll through the pedestrian streets. The choice remains yours, allowing the day to close in either restful privacy or a little more discovery.
DAY 3: HUE
Experience flow: Lively curiosity, the surprise of contrast, sensory discovery and hands-on focus, followed by coastal ease.
After breakfast and check-out, set out on the journey's most culturally focused day, following a sequence that connects everyday Hue with its imperial past and contemporary creativity.
Dong Ba Market | A Glimpse of Everyday Hue
Duration: 1 hours
Begin at Dong Ba Market, where fresh produce, regional delicacies and the exchanges between local shoppers and stallholders offer a close view of the city's daily life. A longstanding trading centre beside the Perfume River, Dong Ba offers a lively counterpoint to the stillness of the previous day. Walk through the stalls, watch the small exchanges that give the market its character and even take time to choose a few modest souvenirs that catch your eye. The pleasure is in discovering everyday Hue at close quarters, where a familiar gesture or an unexpected detail can be as memorable as a landmark.
The Imperial City | Stories of the Nguyen Dynasty
Duration: 2 hours
Continue to the Imperial City, the former seat of the Nguyen emperors and a central part of the UNESCO-listed Complex of Hue Monuments. Within its walls, gates, ceremonial courtyards and surviving palace architecture reveal how royal life was organised through space, hierarchy and ritual. Your guide helps you look beyond the scale of the buildings to the meanings held in their arrangement and decorative details, placing the setting within the story of Vietnam's last royal dynasty. The contrast with Dong Ba is part of the experience: the movement and informality of the market give way to the order and measured spaces of the court. Visiting both offers two complementary perspectives on Hue, one shaped by daily exchange and the other by imperial ceremony.
Ngu Thien Experience at Ngu Ha Vien
Duration: 2 hours
At Ngu Ha Vien, the story of royal life continues through a specially prepared lunch with culinary artisan Tran Thanh Quang. A practitioner and preservationist of Hue's imperial culinary traditions, he introduces the relationship between ingredients, presentation and the etiquette of the royal table. Through the Ngu Thien experience, individual dishes become a way of exploring the cultural ideas behind a meal: traditional understandings of nourishment, the balance of yin and yang, and the care given to how food is prepared and presented. After walking through the Imperial City, you now encounter this heritage on a more intimate scale. The pace slows from exploration to conversation and tasting, with time to ask questions and appreciate the stories accompanying the dishes. Lunch becomes a continuation of the morning's discovery, expressed through flavour and hospitality.
Truc Chi Experience | Contemporary Vietnamese Craft
Duration: 2.5 hours
At Truc Chi Garden, Hue's heritage gives way to a contemporary expression of creativity. Truc Chi takes handmade paper beyond its familiar role as a surface for an image: the fibres, texture and varying thickness of the paper become the artwork itself. Water is used to shape the material, creating details that emerge differently as light passes through it. Explore the gallery and creative space, hear the story behind this Hue-born art form and discover how traditional papermaking knowledge has opened new artistic possibilities. Then create a small piece of your own, shifting from looking at the work of others to the focused pleasure of making. The contrast is another invitation to pay attention: monumental architecture becomes delicate material, and the wide spaces of the morning become a small world beneath your hands. Water returns here in an unexpected role, as a tool for shaping a personal keepsake.
Arrival & Leisure | Your Time, Your Pace
Later, leave the city centre by private vehicle and travel towards Angsana Lang Co. The changing landscape marks a gentle easing from the day's concentrated discoveries. After check-in, settle into your room, explore the resort or take a quiet moment beside the sea.
Dinner at the Resort
Duration: 1.5 hours
Enjoy dinner at the resort at your own expense, followed by an evening at leisure. After a day of movement, contrasts and hands-on discovery, the coastal setting leaves room for everything you have encountered to settle.
Your Stay | Angsana Lang Co
Set between the Truong Son mountains and the coast, Angsana Lang Co opens the journey into a more expansive setting. The beach, pools and optional spa and golf experiences allow different interests to find their own place within the stay, whether you prefer to be active or simply enjoy an unhurried afternoon.
(This part below will be adjusted based on the actual chosen room type)
Your proposed Garden Balcony Twin Grand room offers 53 square metres of space, twin beds and Vietnamese-inspired interiors in soft, neutral tones, with a private balcony looking towards the gardens or mountains. The room is a garden-view category, while the sea is part of the wider resort experience. Two nights here give the final chapter time to breathe, with a familiar base for lagoon discovery and hours that belong entirely to you.
DAY 4: LANG CO
Experience flow: Time entirely your own, gentle activity on the water, then a shared pause at sunset.
Morning - Afternoon | Leisure at Angsana Lang Co
Begin the day with the freedom to enjoy Angsana Lang Co at your own pace. Much of the morning and early afternoon remains open for a swim, a walk beside the sea, time with a book or simply a leisurely few hours with those travelling beside you. Optional golf, wellness experiences and resort activities offer alternatives for guests who prefer to be more active. After the previous day's cultural encounters, this interval gives you time to enjoy the place where you are staying, with no need for every member of the group to follow the same interests.
Lagoon Cruise & Kayaking | Sunset Experience
Duration: 3 hours
Later, the proposed excursion takes you to Chuon Lagoon, where a local boat journey opens a different view of life around Hue. Out on the water, observe the fishing communities and the daily activity that connects people with this landscape. Here, water is part of everyday life: a setting for work, movement and community, offering a different perspective from the mineral baths and the Perfume River earlier in your journey. Subject to weather and local operating arrangements, continue with gentle kayaking, drawing closer to the water and its changing reflections. There is time to pause as the afternoon light softens and, conditions permitting, watch the sunset over the lagoon.
Dinner | By the Lagoon
Duration: 2 hours
Dinner extends the waterside experience at a floating restaurant or beside Lap An Lagoon, with the final setting determined by the agreed route and operating conditions. It is an opportunity to enjoy a local meal and exchange impressions of the afternoon before the private transfer back to Angsana. Your final evening at the resort is left free, bringing together the day's two pleasures: time entirely your own and a closer encounter with the life of the lagoon.
DAY 5: LANG CO
Experience flow: Familiar comforts, a final moment of creative attention and a gentle sense of closure.
Morning | Leisure at Angsana Lang Co
Morning, according to your departure schedule.
Enjoy a final morning at Angsana Lang Co, with breakfast and time, according to your departure schedule, to revisit the small pleasures of your stay. Take another swim, walk along the beach or settle into a favourite corner of the resort while the day's onward arrangements are prepared.
Optional Closure | Lotus Paper Craft
Before departure; subject to advance arrangements.
For a gentle closing experience, an optional paper lotus-making session can be arranged with a local artisan at the resort, subject to availability and advance confirmation. Guided through the making of a small flower, you have one more opportunity to engage with Hue through handwork and a personal encounter. Like the Truc Chi experience, the activity invites attention to material, shape and the patience involved in creating something of your own. The finished lotus becomes a modest keepsake of the journey, carrying the memory of time spent making it rather than simply choosing a souvenir. Holding the experience at the resort also allows this final cultural moment to fit naturally around your departure, without adding another excursion.
Check-out & Departure
After check-out, travel by private vehicle to Phu Bai International Airport for your onward flight, or continue south towards Da Nang according to your travel plans. You leave with memories that may be as small as the fragrance of tea or as expansive as the lagoon at dusk, alongside the stories, flavours and shared moments that have given these five days their character.
Between the warmth of mineral water and the openness of the coast, this journey offers different ways to experience Hue. What stays with you is personal: a story, a flavour, a shared moment, or the pleasure of having had time to notice.
