DAY 1: HANOI

ARRIVAL

Upon touchdown at Hanoi’s Noi Bai International Airport you will be met right at the airplane’s arrival gate by friendly Fast Track Service staff. You will be whisked through immigration via the diplomatic lane, have your luggage retrieved and carried, and be delivered to your Hanoi host waiting for you in the Arrival Hall. A private vehicle will be ready to take you to your hotel. 

Depending on the time of arrival, enjoy the evening at leisure in your hotel or get ready to hit the ground running and dive into Vietnam’s vibrant capital city.

 

DAY 2: HANOI

HANOI'S HISTORY AND CULTURE WITH SIDECAR

Duration: 6 hours

Hanoi has been the Vietnamese capital since 1010 A.D., so there are endless stories to be told from within the city’s bustling alleyways and diverse quarters. Today, we’ll delve deep into Hanoi as we immerse ourselves in these tales.

Let's explore Hanoi in style today, using multiple modes of transportation. We'll start with a vintage sidecar ride, drifting through the must-see sights of the Old Quarter, then head to the West Lake area to visit some beautiful gardens and some of Vietnam's oldest Buddhist monasteries. We suggest visiting the Temple of Literature, strolling along the Parisian boulevards of the French Quarter, and, if you’re up for it, exploring Ho Chi Minh’s Museum complex and the historic Ba Dinh Square.

The sightseeing will be complemented by two essential Vietnamese experiences: slurping on a bowl of Noodle Soup (Phở) and sipping traditional Vietnamese iced coffee (Café Sua Da), or even trying egg coffee (Ca phe trung) — a unique and delicious drink that originated in Hanoi

 

HANOI TO SAPA

OVERNIGHT WITH CHAPA EXPRESS

Duration: 8 hours

This evening, our guide will accompany you to Hanoi train station for you ride to Sapa. Boarding time will be around 9.30 pm.

The Chapa Express Train, which commenced operations in June 2014, is among Vietnam's most modern trains. Travel in elegance and ease between Lao Cai and Ha Noi with our 14 cozy yet fully-equipped cabins. Each cabin boasts air-conditioning, reading lights, comfortable beds, and Sapa-inspired décor. TRANSFER FROM LAO CAI STATION TO HOTEL 

After arriving at the Lao Cai train station in the early morning, we’ll take an hour long scenic drive uphill to Sapa, giving you a glimpse of the stunning scenery and impressive rice terraces for which the area is known. Arrive at the hotel and dig into some delicious breakfast! Rest and relax to refill and recharge your energy from the overnight train

CYCLING ODYSSEY TO NAM NHIU AND NAM CANG IN SAPA 

Duration: 6 hours

Delve deeper into the wilderness after a short transfer from the hotel to the cycling starting point near Nam Nhiu village, leaving behind well-trodden paths to embrace the serenity of nature's wonders. Marvel at the majestic high mountains, cascading waterfalls, and breathtaking valleys that surround you.

Follow the quiet roads and paths winding through the pristine landscape, leading to the Red Dao village of Nam Nhiu. Immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of the villagers as you visit their houses and gain insight into their daily way of life. Nam Cang village, located in the remote corners of Sapa, is home to the vibrant Red Dao ethnic group. Admire the colorful and diverse costumes worn by the Red Dao women, showcasing their unique cultural heritage. Witness their exceptional skills in crafting herbal baths, local medicine, and intricate embroidery. Accompanied by your knowledgeable guide, explore the village and gain insights into the art of making traditional rice paper, exquisite jewelry, and delicate embroidery.

DAY 4: SAPA

HIKING TRIBAL VILLAGES 

Duration: 6 hours

Sapa is well-known for its diverse range of ethnic minority communities residing in villages nestled within the lush river valleys, surrounded by towering mountains and picturesque rice terraces. Today, we will embark on an adventure to explore this diversity by hiking to two tribal villages through the breathtaking countryside.

After a refreshing breakfast and breathing in the fresh morning air, we will begin our hike towards the first village, Lao Chai, where members of the Black Hmong tribe reside. From there, we will continue our hike towards the village of Ta Van, home to members of the Dzay tribe, where we will enjoy our lunch at a local restaurant. You will have plenty of opportunities to engage with the locals, gain insights into their culture and traditions, and bask in the beauty of the surrounding landscape.

Note: We will cover between 7 - 10 kilometers on foot

 

DAY 5: SAPA

FANSIPAN MOUNTAIN WITH CABLE CAR RIDE TO THE SUMMIT OF INDOCHINA

Duration: 6 hours

You will begin your journey by taking a scenic cable car ride that offers stunning views of the lush green valleys and majestic peaks of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range. This cable car ride is one of the longest and highest in the world, and will take us up to the peak of Fanxipan, which stands at 3,143 meters above sea level.

Before reaching the summit of Mt. Fansipan, you’ll arrive at a peaceful garden complex, with stone paths, ancient Azalea trees and 18 skillfully sculpted bronze statues. These sculptures lead the way to a 20-metre celestial Buddha statue perched on the mountainside -- the largest in the country. The gardens and pagodas all around provide a tranquil setting to pause and breathe in the fresh air

Once you reach the summit, you will be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, including the terraced rice fields, waterfalls, and forests. You will have plenty of time to explore and take photos before descending back down on the cable car.

You will have your room at disposal until departure to the station for your train adventure to Hanoi.

There is no better way to experience this UNESCO World Heritage Site than by sailing through the calm, scenic waters on board an elegantly designed and high-standard Chinese Junk ship.We will have a short drive from your hotel in Hanoi to Noi Bai Airport, where you will board your seaplane to Ha Long Bay.

Upon arrival at Van Don Airport, our private vehicle will escort you to the luxury yacht and be whisked away in style, gliding across the emerald waters of Halong Bay. As you soak in the breathtaking scenery, indulge in elegant canapé-style finger foods. DAY 7: HALONG BAY

First stop: Cua Van Relics, one of the most enchanting floating villages in the world. Here, time seems to pause. Then, it’s on to Tien Ong Cave, where myth and mystery meet. Stepping inside feels like entering a secret world, ancient stalactites hang like chandeliers, and the cool air whispers stories carved by wind and water over thousands of years. As the late afternoon sun begins to soften and cast a golden hue over the bay, your journey drifts toward the hidden gem of Trinh Nữ Beach. Tucked behind dramatic limestone cliffs, this quiet, crescent-shaped beach invites you to slow down and soak in the moment. Arriving around 4PM, the light dances on the waves, and the crowds have long melted away, leaving just the whisper of the breeze, the rhythmic lapping of the sea, and the sense that you’ve stumbled upon something truly sacred. DAY 8: HALONG BAY TO HANOI

A GOLDEN FAREWELL TO HA LONG BAY

For early risers, tea, coffee and pastries are available in the dining room and a Tai Chi class is offered on the sun deck to awaken your mind and muscles. As your time in Ha Long Bay begins to wind down, the final chapter of your journey unfolds in the most serene and unforgettable way.

On the sundeck, bathed in golden morning light, you’ll find yourself fully immersed in the beauty of the bay one last time. With the soft breeze on your skin and the limestone cliffs slowly drifting past, it’s the perfect moment to stretch out, reflect, and soak in the stillness of the seascape, a gentle farewell written in sunshine and sea air.

As the boat gently makes its way back toward Tuan Chau Pier, the landscape you’ve come to know and love begins to fade into memory, leaving you with a quiet sense of awe. But the adventure isn’t quite over yet. A thrilling final leg awaits as you board a seaplane bound for Hanoi. Rising gracefully from the water, the plane gives you one last panoramic view, a sweeping aerial canvas of Ha Long Bay’s emerald waters, scattered islands, and hidden coves, now all spread out beneath your wings. It’s a breathtaking sendoff, an experience that turns your return journey into a moment just as remarkable as the rest of your voyage.

You will land at Noi Bai International Airport on time for your flight to Danang.

 

HANOI TO HOI AN

ARRIVAL IN DA NANG AND TRANSFER TO HOI AN

Welcome to Central Vietnam! Upon touchdown in Da Nang, collect your luggage and make your way to the arrivals hall where your friendly Hoi An host will be waiting for you. A transfer vehicle will be ready to take you to your hotel.

A lovely, culturally-endowed town, Hoi An is one of the most picturesque places in Vietnam. We can’t wait to show you its many charms! 

 

DAY 9: HOIAN

EVERYTHING HOI AN

Duration: 6 hours

Hoi An is one of Vietnam's most elegant and historic towns. A major maritime trading center for centuries, Hoi An hosts beautifully preserved and diverse architecture, delicious food, and lots of opportunities for exploration. Today, we will bask in a little bit of everything Hoi An has to offer.

For early risers, a visit to the fish and central markets is like going back in time when life in Hoi An centerd around these markets. Watch locals preparing for their day, then set out on a walking exploration of interesting nooks and crannies. Next, hop on a bike and head further afield to the countryside where, after enjoying the Vietnamese rural scenery along the way, we’ ll stop at the village of Go Noi. Here we’ll get an insight into the life of farming communities (growing incredible organic vegetables), receive a cooking demonstration and dig into a local gourmet feast.

The afternoon is clear for shopping, beach time or just taking in the atmosphere in this charming town.

Note: We will be biking 10-20 kilometers on flat, paved countryside roads.

 

ROMANTIC BAMBOO RAFT DINNER 

Set in Hoi An’s scenic Cua Dai estuary, this evening’s enchanting experience takes you on a short sunset cruise through the mangroves in an iconic hand-woven reed conical boat. You’ll experience local riverside life and watch fishermen cast nets one last time for the day as the sun sets.

Around a bend in the river, you'll discover your private candle-lit dining experience waiting for you. Here, you'll be seated atop a sturdy bamboo raft, creating an atmosphere of unparalleled romance and charm. As you settle in, a sumptuous feast of fresh river delicacies awaits, featuring the day's catch and an array of crisp, locally sourced vegetables served as delectable appetizers.

The highlight, undoubtedly, is the opportunity to witness one of the most awe-inspiring sunsets that graces this charming town. This sensory spectacle is sure to leave an indelible mark on your memory.

 

DAY 10: HOIAN TO SAIGON

ARRIVAL

Time to say goodbye to Hoi An! You will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Da Nang airport by private vehicle for your onward flight.

Note: The drive from Hoi An to Da Nang International Airport is around one hour.

Welcome to Southern Vietnam and to the country’s energetic commercial heart! Upon touchdown in Saigon (officially known as Ho Chi Minh City) collect your luggage and make your way to the arrivals hall where your friendly Saigon host will be waiting for you. A transfer vehicle will be ready to take you to your hotel. 

Depending on the time of arrival, enjoy the evening at leisure in your hotel or brace yourself for Saigon’s organized chaos and metropolitan buzz.

 

SAIGON EVENING SCOOTER ADVENTURE 

Duration: 4 hours

As the sun sets, enjoy an evening scooter adventure. We’ll take Saigon by storm and experience the amazing energy and movement of the southern capital via a colorful scooter journey (you’ll be chauffeured by professionals!). We’ll whizz around the historical district taking in all the sights, sounds and smells of a city relaxing after work. Street-side food is a delicious culinary adventure in and of itself and provides a perfect view of Saigon’s motorcycle medley. If you fancy a nightcap, we can head up to one of Saigon’s rooftop bars and observe the city’s frenzy from above.

Note: The motorbikes are normal motorbikes and not Vespas to provide maximum flexibility and tailored experiences.

 

DAY 11: SAIGON

CU CHI TUNNELS 

Duration: 6 hours

The morning will be spent exploring the Cu Chi Tunnels where the Vietcong dug 250 kilometers of passageways from the Cambodian border towards Saigon, eventually capturing the city. While heavily visited, we will organise a meeting with a Veteran who will provide more insight and create a more heartfelt and private experience. It’s astounding what they constructed and you’ll have the opportunity to squeeze through most of these very narrow passageways. This visit gives an enduring appreciation for the tenacity and sacrifices of the Vietnamese people.

A private speedboat is a fun way to make your outward journey to Cu Chi with great views to be had from the river along the way.

Note: it is a 1.5 hour drive there by car and 1.5 hour return by speedboat

 

SAIGON’S CHINATOWN AND HISTORICAL DISTRICT 

Duration: 4 hours

Today we’ll hit the town by three-wheeled cyclo. A vintage and slow-paced way of getting around we’ll head toCholon, Saigon’s Chinatown, where we can roam around the old spice district as well as the colorful and sensory Binh Tay Market. We will also get pedaled to Giac Lam Pagoda, one of the city’s oldest Buddhist temples.

The ride through markets will no doubt leave us building up an appetite. You will have opportunities to taste the local food before enjoying a coffee in the park and continuing our exploration of Saigon’s historical district on foot.

 

DAY 12: VIETNAM - SEE YOU AGAIN !

Time to say goodbye to Vietnam! You will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Saigon’s Tan Son Nhat International Airport for your onward flight. Upon arrival at the terminal, airport representatives will be on hand to expedite you through check in and security processes before escorting you to the boarding gate.
