Itinerary
DAY 1: HANOI
ARRIVAL IN HANOI WITH VIP FAST TRACK SERVICE
Welcome to Vietnam! Upon touchdown at Hanoi's Noi Bai International Airport you will be met right at the airplane's arrival gate by friendly Fast Track Service staff. You will be whisked through immigration via the diplomatic lane, have your luggage retrieved and carried, and be delivered to your Hanoi host waiting for you in the Arrival Hall. A private vehicle will be ready to take you to your hotel.
WELCOME TO HANOI
Duration: 3 hours
This afternoon we'll head out to explore the hotel's neighborhood area and step into vintage Hanoi with a little historical overview, a traditional Vietnamese coffee, and a glimpse of Hanoians at work, rest and play around the city's largest natural landmark. There is no better place to get oriented. We'll cap off the evening with some mouth-watering authentic Vietnamese cuisine at one of the city's excellent restaurants.
DAY 2: HANOI
HANOI INSIDE OUT
Duration: 6 hours
Hanoi has been the Vietnamese capital since 1010 A.D so there are an endless amount of stories to be regaled from within the city's bustling alleyways and diverse quarters. Today, we'll turn Hanoi inside out as we immerse ourselves in these stories.
The must-sees of the Old Quarter are best explored in a cyclo: a bicycle-powered rickshaw driven from behind by a native Hanoian! Drift elegantly through the busy inner streets, taking in the hustle and bustle on all sides. You'll then be chauffeured on the back of a scooter by one of our experienced motorcycle drivers and visit the Temple of Literature, the Parisian boulevards of the French Quarter and, if you're up for it, Ho Chi Minh's Museum complex and the historic Ba Dinh Square.
The sightseeing will be complemented by two essential Vietnamese experiences: slurping on a bowl of Noodle Soup (Pho) and sipping on some traditional Vietnamese ice coffee (Cafe Sua Da), or even egg-coffee (Ca phe trung) as a unique and delicious drink that originated in Hanoi.
DAY 3: HANOI
DAY AT LEISURE
Today's excursion is under your own arrangement. Enjoy Hanoi at your own pace.
DAY 4: HOI AN
TRAVEL FROM HANOI TO HOI AN & ROMANTIC BBQ DINNER ON BAMBOO RAFT - WOW MOMENTS
Duration: 4 hours (evening experience)
Time to say goodbye to Northern Vietnam! In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the airport for your onward flight to Da Nang.
Welcome to Central Vietnam! Upon touchdown in Da Nang, collect your luggage and make your way to the arrivals hall where your friendly Hoi An host will be waiting for you. A transfer vehicle will be ready to take you to your hotel. A lovely, culturally-endowed town, Hoi An is one of the most picturesque places in Vietnam. The drive from Da Nang International Airport to Hoi An is around one hour.
This evening, there is no better way to warm up the together-journey with your beloved one than enjoying a unique romantic dinner on a boat trip to Cua Dai estuary while exploring the magnificent scenery of the countryside and the vast water coconut forest along the Hoi An River.
You will be picked up at the hotel and travel to Cua Dai by private van. Enjoy basket boat riding on the river, meeting a hidden floating bar, and take in the beautiful scenery of the river life and a beautiful sunset. A BBQ dinner will then be served on a private bamboo raft on the river (if it rains, dinner will be served in a nice bamboo house on the paddy field), before returning to your hotel.
DAY 5: HOI AN - EVERYTHING HOI AN
Duration: 8 hours
Hoi An is one of Vietnam's most elegant and historic towns. A major maritime trading center for centuries, Hoi An hosts beautifully preserved and diverse architecture, delicious food, and lots of opportunities for exploration. Today, we will bask in a little bit of everything Hoi An has to offer.
For early risers, a visit to the fish and central markets is like going back in time when life in Hoi An centered around these markets. Watch locals preparing for their day, then set out on a walking exploration of interesting nooks and crannies. Next, hop on a bike and head further afield to the countryside where, after enjoying the Vietnamese rural scenery along the way, we'll stop at the village of Go Noi. Here we'll get an insight into the life of farming communities (growing incredible organic vegetables), receive a cooking demonstration and dig into a local gourmet feast.
The afternoon is clear for shopping, beach time or just taking in the atmosphere in this charming town.
Note: We will be biking 10-20 kilometers on flat, paved countryside roads. If visiting the fish market, an early pre-breakfast start is needed, returning to the hotel for breakfast before adventuring out again.

DAY 6: HOI AN
MY SON, A TASTE OF ANCIENT VIETNAM
Duration: 7 hours 30 minutes
Fifty kilometers from Hoi An town you'll find the ancient ruins of My Son, a UNESCO World Heritage Site which is a must-see for any visit to Central Vietnam. Once the heart of the powerful Champa Empire, whose rulers built impressive Hindu temples between the 4th and 13th centuries, My Son Sanctuary is now a mystery-shrouded collection of abandoned temple structures nearly swallowed by the surrounding jungle and nearly destroyed by carpet bombing during the Vietnam War. Fascinating history to say the least!
On today's outing, getting to My Son will be half the fun! Mounted on motorbikes driven by professionals we'll take the back roads, which in Vietnam means small concrete paths amongst the rice paddies, villages and local shrines. As we navigate the labyrinth of back country roads on an exhilarating journey to the ruins, we'll get a feel for what ""off the tourist path"" really means.
After taking time to explore My Son, we will head back to the city via motorboat on a cruise down the Thu Bon River. Reflect on the morning's adventure as we observe country life passing by along the river.
DAY 7: SAIGON
TRAVEL FROM HOI AN TO SAIGON & CU CHI TUNNELS
Duration: 6 hours 15 minutes
Time to say goodbye to Hoi An! Early in the morning you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Da Nang airport by private vehicle for your onward flight (the drive from Hoi An to Da Nang International Airport is around one hour).
Welcome to Southern Vietnam and to the country's energetic commercial heart! Upon touchdown in Saigon (officially known as Ho Chi Minh City) collect your luggage and make your way to the arrivals hall where your friendly Saigon host will be waiting for you.
From the airport, you will head straight away to the Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible 250 km network of clandestine underground passageways the Viet Cong dug from the Cambodian border towards Saigon, eventually enabling them to capture the city. While heavily visited, it's astounding what they constructed and you'll have the opportunity to squeeze through many of these very narrow passageways. This visit gives an endearing appreciation for the tenacity and sacrifices of the Vietnamese people.
After visiting the tunnels, enjoy lunch and head back to Saigon, stopping at the American War Remnants Museum for a short visit if time permits, before checking in to your hotel for a rest.
SAIGON EVENING SCOOTER ADVENTURE
Duration: 4 hours
As the sun sets, enjoy an evening scooter adventure. We'll take Saigon by storm and experience the amazing energy and movement of the southern capital via a colorful scooter journey (you'll be chauffeured by professionals!). We'll whizz around the historical district taking in all the sights, sounds and smells of a city relaxing after work. Street-side food is a delicious culinary adventure in and of itself and provides a perfect view of Saigon's motorcycle medley. If you fancy a nightcap, we can head up to one of Saigon's rooftop bars and observe the city's frenzy from above.
DAY 8: VIETNAM - SEE YOU AGAIN!
Time to say goodbye to Vietnam! You will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Saigon's Tan Son Nhat International Airport for your onward flight.
